So...as you might know, if you've seen me all excited about this on tumblr...the whole Character Bleed epic is being published by JMS Books! As a trilogy!
Book One, Seaworthy (essentially the first third) comes out tomorrow - August 1! I AM SO EXCITED - this whole universe just might be my favorite thing I've ever written, I love it so very much, and I've loved sharing it with everyone along the way. Books Two (Stalwart) and Three (Steadfast) will be out in September and October, respectively, as well!
Look at this luscious cover art! And if you've read it and liked it, perhaps consider picking up the published copy and supporting Colby and Jason and me? I can promise that it comes with a brand-new, not-available-anywhere-else bonus story...
And if you haven't read it, and you want to know what it's about, it's...well, it's the story I keep describing to people as "basically they're actors filming Master & Commander but even more gay!" Which means...actors falling in love while filming a gay Napoleonic War-era love story, slow-burn mutual pining, very much resolved sexual tension (at last!), lots of food/food-related puns, the purposeful opposite of the "bury your gays" trope, and the best sex scene I've ever written in which no one touches anyone, only watches...
